Precaution first: NSYSU HRM “teach me how to write thesis”workshop live broadcast

To let master students in managerial field can successfully find the topic, finish a high quality thesis and pass the oral defense, and let advisors can advise plenty of students with quality, NSYSU HRM cooperated with Taiwan AOM and NSYSU college of management to held the “Teach me how to write thesis: A workshop for master students and advisors”. However, with the concern of COVID-19, Kaohsiung education bureau commend that universities should stop activities over 50 people after March. To respond the support from faculty and students around Taiwan, NSYSU HRM decided to live broadcast the workshop. First we invited 300 interested audiences into the Facebook group, and set the studio in classroom of college of management on 3/31. We used Youtube as the platform of this broadcast. Winners in thesis competition were invited as the speakers of this workshop: associate professor I-Ching Chen from NTNU department of technology application and human resource management, associate professor Tun-Chun Huang from NCUE institute of HRM, and professor Nai-Wen Chi from NSYSU HRM. They shared their experiences from the perspective of advisors and students, participants on sites or online can all enjoy the workshop full of knowledge. On the other hand, NSYSU HRM made a good cooperation behind the scene, from broadcast planning, equipment and site control, live interaction and video posting. We not only break the wall of distance and time, but also start a new form of workshop.
